Boeing 737 800 Extended Fuselage For Enhanced Competition

Boeing 737-800: Extended Fuselage for Enhanced Competition

New Length, Enhanced Capabilities

Boeing's latest addition to the 737 family, the 737-800, boasts an extended fuselage, stretching 3 meters longer than its predecessors. This significant modification not only increases passenger capacity but also empowers the aircraft to compete directly with Airbus's baseline model.

Legacy in Czech Airlines

Czech Airlines has a long history with Boeing 737 aircraft, having operated the B737-500 model in the past. The airline currently operates 30 B737-800 aircraft in its fleet.

Passenger Comfort and Configuration

All Boeing 737 variants feature a single central aisle, with seats arranged in the standard configuration. Passengers can expect a comfortable and practical travel experience.

BCF Program: Converting to Freighters

Boeing launched the 737-800BCF (Boeing Converted Freighter) program in 2016. This program converts retired 737-800 passenger aircraft into cargo planes, enabling efficient and reliable airfreight operations.

Capacity and Class Options

The 737-800 offers various class configurations, including 189 seats in economy class, 18 seats in business class, and a flexible 18C/150Y configuration.
